First Underway of 2026

GHOSTS ON THE HUNT!
Secret Squirrel and Sons Of Sonar started the year off with a great underway with an old shipmate. CDR Greg Coy and his team on The Mighty Warship IOWA SSN-797 welcomed our group to their home and man did we get a lot of stuff done; almost two weeks of at sea operations. While completing those OPS, we still managed to conduct 27 hours of off watch training. That was outside of the continuous on watch training from the Engineroom to Control.
We also completed our Ring of Fire: The Four Patches of the Acoustic Apocalypse! Each patch has a different requirement to earn it. The Force ACINT SME patch can only be earned at sea doing GOOD STUFF!
